“Die Fracht” is an amplified musical instrument and a playset designed for children under the age of 5 to make large sounds from their small bodies. Children perform with the instrument by simply playing with it intuitively without guidance or adult interference. Its cars, trucks, crane, and entire landscape utilize embedded sound pickups actuated by springs, rattles, scrapers, tines, and strings.
